Metamorphosis

This project focuses on the archetype of the cargo vest with visual inspiration of butterflies. The vest can be worn two ways transforming the shape  referencing the metamorphosis of the butterfly. The main piece is the duo colored vest which is an exploration of patternmakinging order to form volume. The skirt uses the same principal of the vest forming volumes at the front carrying the elemets of the cargo vest. Lastly the hooded top carries the shape of the butterfly reflected in the hood as well as the cargo elements. Each seam is highlighted by contrast stiching; playing with the butterflies colors.
